5 Friends Everyone Should Have

Hey Guys,

Yesterday I did a post on toxic friendships (if you haven’t seen it click here) but today I thought that I would lighten things up a bit, by saying five friendships that we have all had or currently have.

The One Call Away:

The one call away is a friend you need to keep. They are the friend who will always be there for you, and will pick up the phone whenever you need them. If they are busy, that will not matter. If you need them, they are there!

The Photographic Memory:

This friend will literally remember everything you ever said to them or did for them, because they are extremely sentimental and love to have these memories with them at all times. This is literally me. If someone writes me something, or does something nice for me, I keep the evidence of it, to reminisce in the future. I also like to tell them how much I care because I am that sentimental. It’s probably sad, but I don’t care.

The I Will Make You Laugh:

I love a good laugh. Who doesn’t? When I say laugh though, I mean seriously laugh, because when I start, I can’t stop, and my friends know that. A friend of mine always has to have a sense of humor, or be able to pick me back up again when I am down, with a joke.

The Personal Trainer:

This person will mentor you through anything and will help to push you past your comfort zone. They are great to have around, as they know what is best for you, and try to help you, but only if you are willing to help yourself. They come with a lot of positivity and many pep talks, some of which may result in a bit of tough love, but they mean well.

The Protector:

We don’t always need protecting, but there is always that one friend that makes it part of their responsibility to make sure you are always ok, and will stop anyone who tried to hurt you. All you can do, is trust them!

The Social Media Blog Tag | Original Tag

Hey Guys,

Yesterday I wrote a post regarding my lack of plans for Valentines Day. Go figure!I also mentioned that it may be an idea to celebrate other forms of love, such as friendship and  family. That gave me an idea. This tag!

We all use Social Media, and we all love certain Blogs and Bloggers, so why not combine the two? For each Social Media site, you have to put the Blog or Blogger that you think suits that category. It doesn’t matter if there is one which fits more than one category. This is about spreading the love, and hopefully, we may all find some new blogs to read from it.

I’m not sure if this tag has been done before, but I don’t think it would have been done like this.

  • Thank the person who tagged you.
  • Choose a Blog or Blogger per category and explain why you chose them.
  • Optional – Finish off the explanation with a Gif and/or a # which best describes them.
  • Tag others to do this (up to you how many).

The Categories:

Instagram – A Blog With A Design You Love:

Cristina (My Tiny Obsessions)

This blog has the most awesome design EVER!!! Everything from the layout, to the header image, are just perfect, and clearly well thought out. I genuinely wish I could do something like that.

Oh and by the way, Cristina loves Psych, which just so happens to be one of my favourite shows 😉 Just another reason why she is amazing!

Facebook – A Blog With A Friendly Blogger:

Em (LyfWithEm)

What can I say about Em? She is one of the most helpful people I have come across since I began this blog, and always has such lovely things to say to everyone, especially when it comes to advice. She is great, and I’m pretty certain most people reading this know that.

Twitter – A Blogger Who Could Write Just 140 Characters And You Would Still Love Them:

Jia Wei (Film And Nuance)

I’m not sure if you guys know this blog, but if you do, great! This is a person who’s opinion I trust very much. I don’t know why, but if he decided to write a review which was 140 characters long, I would probably still trust it. Just saying.

YouTube – A Blog You Are Convinced You Are The Number 1 Fan Of:

Elm (JustElm)

Ok! I am putting this out there now, I am her number one fan 😉 Sorry about that. Well, I would like to think so anyway. I mean, I was the one who noticed she hit 1000 followers, even before she did. That was such a wonderful thing to witness.

Elm is loved by everyone, that is the honest truth, and it doesn’t take a genius to tell why. She is amazing, and her posts are always clearly thought about.

Wooo! Go Elm!!!

Vine – A Blog You Haven’t Been Following For That Long, But You Still Obsess Over:

Hideaway Girl (HideawayGirl)

I know I have not been following this blog for long, but I know for sure that I love this blog so much!!! I swear, if you have not seen this blog yet, you need to, like right now. PLEASE!!!

Snapchat – The Blogger Who’s Updates You Can’t Wait For:

Elm (JustElm)

OMG! Look who it is! It’s Elm once again. YEAH!!!

I always love it when I see the her new posts in the reader. It makes me so, so happy. It makes me want to dance like this…

Tumblr – A Blog Which Keeps You Entertained:

Regina (Diversion3000)

This girl here is such an awesome blogger. Her posts are so fun to read.

I don’t read many posts where I am likely to laugh, but then I come to this blog, I just can’t help it. She is the kind of person I need to have a secret handshake with haha! She is so Tumblr, and she doesn’t even know it! 😀

Pinterest – A Blog Which Is Full Of Creativity And Inspiration:

Asha (VintageSmiles)

Asha is the queen of creativity. Her posts are always topical, and talked about in a way which is different and fun. Not only that, but I always feel inspired when I have finished reading a post by her. Gees she is good!

This was a lot more difficult than I had anticipated that it would be. Oh well.

I love all of these people, so please go and check them out! Right now! Yes this very second!!!

I nominate everyone I mentioned in this post to do the Tag next.

Living The No Phone Life

Hey Guys,

I love my phone! I mean seriously love it! Unfortunately, I accidentally broke mine a couple of weeks ago. Don’t worry though, it is getting fixed and hopefully I will get it back before my birthday, but for now, I am still away from it.

It upsets me to think it is all alone in a new place, and for me it’s just hard not having it here with me, but I need to find things to do, to get my mind off it.

There are things that will happen without a phone! Here are just 4 of those things:

Talk To Real People:

On a phone, you are texting people who are not with you, or for some people, they are literally next to them, but we have grown so close to texting that even that seems normal. I actually don’t do that (maybe to someone across the room), but still, without my phone, I can actually speak to people, real people, face to face. It’s seems like such an unknown thing, but talking to people face to face, is like face time, but so much better!

Actually See The World:

Our faces are forever fixated to what is on our screens, where as without a phone, you can walk and see the world for what it is, and explore places much more, and see things you may not have noticed before.

Lol. HAHA! LMAO! These are words people use a lot whilst texting, but tell me, are you really laughing? I will admit, sometimes, I will actually laugh at something someone sends me, but it’s not often. Then why is it, we continue to use these words? Well, in the real world, when someone says something funny, or something just happens that was hilarious, you can actually laugh!

Make More Memories:

The less time you are on your phone, the more chance you will have to learn the true value of living in the moment, and spending quality time with those you love. These moments are precious, and we can never get them back. Once they are gone, they are gone forever! In the future, you can look back, think of the good times, and SMILE!!!

5 Things You Didn’t Know About Star Wars: The Force Awakens | Movie Monday

Hey Guys,

I thought for this Movie Monday I would show you 5 things that you may have missed if you have seen the latest Star Wars Movie. Perhaps if you’re a die hard fan, you probably already know them right?

1) James Bond Was A Stormtrooper!

Yes that’s right! Daniel Craig, the current James Bond, sort of makes an appearance in The Force Awakens as the Storm Trooper who Rey manages to first use her Jedi Mind trick on. Oh and you will never guess what his name was! JB-007!

2) Some Familiar Voices Return

When Rey picks up the Lightsaber originally owned by Luke Skywalker, she hears voices. Do you know whose voices they actually are? Ewan Mcgregor, a young Obi Wan, as well as Frank Oz, the voice of Yoda. They both recorded new lines to be added to the movie. Also, Alec Guinness, the original Obi Wan also has a line but as he wasn’t around to record new lines, they used a phrase he said in A New Hope, mainly of the word ‘Afraid’, and made it sound like he was saying ‘Rey’. #MINDBLOWN

3) FN-2187?

Finn, the Stormtrooper turned allie, originally had the name FN-2187. This is actually a reference to the cell block where Leia was imprisoned in the first movie, A New Hope. Cool right?

4) Let’s Play Chess

A Chess game, otherwise known as Dejarik, was found on the Millennium Falcon by Rey and Finn when they first enter. It is the same game that was being played between C-3PO and Chewbacca in the original movies.

5) Carrie Fisher’s Daughter Is A Rebel!

Billie Lourd, Fisher’s daughter is seen in several scenes, as part of the Rebel Alliance. Not just that, but she is totally going for the full Princess Leia look, with those classic hair buns. Following in her mother’s footsteps there.

Have you seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens Yet? If not, you should check out my review HERE!
